The Garrett PowerMax GT2563 is a direct-fit upgrade for the 2.0 TSI EA888 Evo4 in the MK8 Golf R, the Audi S3 8Y and the TTS. It goes in where the factory turbocharger sits and arrives complete with a calibrated electronic actuator.
Garrett rates it at up to 550 BHP (410 kW). On their Golf R test car (stock intercooler and fuel system, custom downpipe, 98 octane) it made 520 BHP (383 kW) and 576 Nm on a conservative tune. Against the factory turbocharger it flows 20% more on the compressor side and 37% more on the turbine side. The turbine wheel is Mar-M alloy and the internally wastegated stainless steel housing is rated to 1,050 °C. A machined speed sensor port takes Garrett's sensor kits (781328-0003 / 781328-0004) or the G-Smart Bluetooth module (923586-0003), all sold separately.
What your car makes depends on its supporting parts and the ECU calibration, which is required. Maximum turbo speed is 177,800 rpm; running above it is at the owner's risk and can damage the turbocharger.

The regular MK8 Golf GTI and the MK8.5 Golf R are not on Garrett's list.
